Join the town of McAlester to celebrate service members at the Armed Forces Day Luncheon & Parade this May. Kick off this two-day event on Friday with a luncheon held at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. This year's branch of honor is the United States Army, which celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2025. On Saturday, line the streets of McAlester's downtown business district and cheer on uniformed men and women as they march along the parade route.
