This Davenport Oil Mural shows original wooden oil derricks that existed in 1925. Palmer Studios painted this historical mural to add to the city’s collection of other eye-catching, history-laden murals. Each year, the Davenport Chamber of Commerce and community members sell commemorative ornaments on the town’s Christmas tree to raise funds for new historical murals.
