Attend the Enid Chautauqua to dig deep into history and have fun doing it. This multi-day, history-focused event features fun educational workshops, fascinating evening presentations and nightly entertainment. Historical reenactments will include a monolog and the opportunity to pose questions to both the visiting luminary and presenter. Daytime workshops will give guests a glimpse of the social, cultural and political nuances of the era.
The theme for 2025 is "Anything Goes: America in the Roaring 20s." Scholars will portray characters from this iconic era: Tuesday, Al Capone / Wednesday, Zitkala-Sa / Thursday, Zane Gray / Friday, Bessie Smith / Saturday, Mae West.
