Blanchard's Veterans Memorial Park provides a somber environment for reflection and a place to honor military veterans. The running water fountain has a soothing effect while the eternal flame above honors the six branches of service. It is especially impactful to visit during sunset and experience all the lighting transitions that occur between daylight and nighttime. The pentagon-shaped Honor Brick pillars are back-lit, providing a glow from inside each pillar.
