Since 2013, the United Way BBQ Showdown in Ardmore has been a staple community event featuring fantastic food, live music and family fun for everyone. This year, the festivities kick off Friday with Cajun Night where cooking teams will serve up bold, authentic flavors straight from the Bayou. Guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat experience with dishes like gumbo, jambalaya, étouffée, boiled shrimp, Cajun-fried fish and more.

Then the fun will continue Saturday with the all-you-can-eat BBQ Showdown where cooking teams will compete for the best brisket, pork ribs and other meats. To round out the event, both days will have live music, cornhole and pickleball tournaments, craft vendors, kid’s activities, and more. Whether attending for the food, the music or the competition, the United Way BBQ Showdown is a can’t-miss event in Ardmore this August.
