Learn more about your family heirloom or vintage quilt at the Edmond History Museum's Quilt Documentation Days. Your quilt will be examined and documented by trained quilt documenters and quilt historian Martha Spark, former project manager of the Oregon Quilt Project.

During your private 30-minute appointment, the team will carefully evaluate your quilt's approximate age, fabrics, materials, block patterns, historical context and construction style. Each participant will receive a detailed written summary and professional photographs of their quilt. Moreover, documented quilts may be included in the Quilt Index, a national online database preserving quilt history from across the United States.
