Step into 1776 for an afternoon of lively conversation, refreshment and a spirited debate over tea at the Historic Rodkey House in Edmond. A Revolutionary Tea is an immersive, living-history experience where guests can interact with costumed interpreters who will bring the tensions and humor of the Revolutionary period to life. In addition to tea, guests can enjoy coffee, lemonade, sandwiches and sweet treats.
After the tea, the gathering will conclude with an opportunity to learn a simple time-period dance. This program is designed as a shared-experience event and is suitable for all ages. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. Guests are encouraged to dress in 1776-inspired clothing or tea party attire at this engaging afternoon event in Edmond.
