Go behind the scenes of history during the Tulsa Chautauqua. Held on the grounds of the Tulsa Historical Society & Museum, this thought-provoking program offers multiple days of workshops, living history events and nightly entertainment.
This year's theme is "250 Years: The Spirit of America." Workshop-goers frequently bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy during breaks. Each night, a different scholar will give a presentation in character followed by a Q&A session from the audience, first in character, then as a scholar.
Local musicians will entertain the audience briefly before each evening's performance. A variety of snacks will be available for purchase. Make an evening of it and enjoy the ambiance of a summer night under the tent while immersing yourself in history.
