Tulsa Area & Northeast Oklahoma

McClure Park & Disc Golf Course

Tulsa’s McClure Park is home to a championship-caliber disc golf course that will both challenge and satisfy players. The 18-hole course is populated with thin trees and a shallow creek that comes into play on roughly half the holes. There are three tee options, ranging the course’s distance from 5,770 feet to 6,100 feet with a par of 57, 59 or 61 depending on which you choose to play.

Chandler Park Disc Golf Courses

Chandler Park boasts two 18-hole disc golf courses, each with its own unique challenges. The first, Bear Course, plays over 5,000 feet with a par of 54. The predominantly flat terrain, with few trees offers mostly open shots, making it one of the best courses in the state for beginners.

The Moose Course is shorter than Bear, but there are significantly more trees, creating many blind shots that can be challenging for beginners. The par 59 gives players a little more room for error, but Chandler Park’s Moose Course is still among the most challenging in the Tulsa area.

River Parks Disc Golf Course

For a round of disc golf with minimal obstacles between you and the basket, the River Parks Disc Golf Course at Tulsa River Parks is a great place to play. The mostly flat 18-hole course provides players with many long, open shots, creating plenty of opportunities to get creative. Built along the banks of the Arkansas River, the Tulsa River Parks course course provides one of the most scenic disc golf experiences in Oklahoma.

The Lodge at Taylor Ranch Disc Golf Courses

Located on one of the most scenic properties in Pawhuska, The Lodge at Taylor Ranch’s two disc golf courses are among the best in the state. The 18-hole Island Course offers frequent elevation changes as well as a scattering of trees that require precise throws to navigate. There are two tee options to start every hole, affecting the distance and par of the course.

The Moccasin Course plays roughly 7,500 feet in total, giving an advantage to players with driving distance. While Moccasin shares a similarly wooded terrain with Island, the meandering creek provides more water hazard challenges. Both courses are well maintained and manicured, ensuring a fun round on a quality course.

Re-Tire Disc Golf Course

Claremore’s Re-Tire Disc Golf Course consists of 27 holes that test players of all skill levels. Much of the course features tight, tree-lined fairways that emphasis precise play rather than distance. Those who excel with putters and midrange discs will likely find more success on the par-81 course, but a fun challenge awaits at Re-Tire for all skill levels.

Civitan Park Disc Golf Course

One of the longer courses in the state, Muskogee's Civitan Park Disc Golf Course at Civitan Park plays just over 7,304 feet in total. The 18-hole course features rolling terrain with very few trees to contend with, allowing players to throw freely. The course’s generous par-60 provides some room for error, and the well-maintained grass ensures a top-tier experience whenever you play.

OKC Metro & Central Oklahoma

Dolese Youth Disc Golf Courses

Dolese Youth Park in northeast Oklahoma City offers players three disc golf courses, the longest of which is the East Course. Many of the fairways are lined with trees at the perimeter that rarely prove to be obstacles on approach. These open fairways make the course most advantageous to players with long drives. At the par-55 West Course, you’ll find trees scattered throughout the fairways, providing a challenging approach with open putts to the basket.

The Original Course is the oldest of the three and features a balance of the other two courses’ challenges. You’ll have to be flexible in your approach as you navigate between open and wooded holes.

Trosper Park Disc Golf Course

Located just a few minutes east of downtown OKC, Trosper Park’s 18-hole disc golf course provides a fun, and well-maintained place to play. Playing roughly 5,300 feet, The course is filled with trees on many holes, requiring precise disc placement on approach. On the back nine, you’ll notice subtle elevation changes that provide a challenging round through the end of this par-54 course.

Will Rogers Disc Golf Course

Located in the charming Will Rogers Gardens, the 18-hole Will Rogers Disc Golf Course plays just over 4,400 feet with minimal obstacles or water hazards. The course is hilly throughout, providing a mild challenge. The relative simplicity along with the course’s central location makes Will Rogers a great place for visitors looking for a quick round.

Northeast Lions Park Disc Golf Course

The 18-hole Northeast Lions Park Disc Golf Course in Norman is built on rolling terrain with tree-lined fairways that create narrow paths for your driver discs. The back nine holes are also mapped around a large pond, adding an extra challenge for players on approach. These features, paired with a total course distance of over 5,300 feet, place Northeast Lions Park among the most difficult courses in the state.

Tye Cunningham Disc Golf Course

The Tye Cunningham Disc Golf Course in Edmond’s Mitch Park is a short par-54 course that rewards precise, technical play. You’ll find many small trees spread throughout the course, which create narrow tee shots with little room for error.

The Dragon Disc Golf Course

Located next to Purcell Lake, the 18-hole Dragon Disc Golf Course is full of mixed terrain and obstacles that will challenge even the most advanced players. This Purcell course’s uncommonly high par-66 is offset by its staggering total distance of over 8,500 feet. The distance, as well as the scattering of trees and the ever-present lake, will reward players who excel at both distance and accuracy on approach shots.

Southwest Oklahoma

Duncan Lake Disc Golf Courses

Just off the shores of Duncan Lake, you’ll find two 18-hole disc golf courses. The East Course has a par of 54 and a total distance of almost 5,000 feet. The heavily wooded roughs that line most fairways make accuracy key on the front nine holes. The back nine features more open tee shots, allowing players to let it rip off the tee. The West Course plays over 1,000 feet longer than the East and features more open tee shots, giving an advantage to long drivers. Duncan's elevation changes here are frequent, and the lake comes more into play on this course as a more immediate water hazard.

Elk City Lake Disc Golf Course

Elk City Lake’s disc golf course is mostly open but deceptively challenging due to the frequent strong winds that can make approach shots difficult. The middle section of this Elk City course requires more unique shot-making to be successful, making for a uniquely fun stretch of play on the par-52 course.

Shannon Springs Park Disc Golf Course

The Shannon Springs Park course is a quick nine-hole course that is expertly maintained in Chickasha. Trees are spread out throughout the course, but sparse enough that most tee shots are open. There is little variance in the distance of the holes, making this an ideal practice course for experts and beginners alike.
