Tom's Drug Store (Medic Pharmacy)
Tom’s is an important part of the Kingfisher landscape. Manager Stephanie Flynn jokes that it’s been around “since they invented dirt,” or at least since the early 1970s. In that time, it’s fed generations of locals at its old-fashioned soda counter, where Kingfisher residents slide on to a bar stool and wolf down sandwiches, hot or cold wraps and salads, along with some tantalizing ice cream. But the signature item here is the orangeade, a once-popular drink now all but forgotten everywhere but at this small-town gem.
