Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Katy Depot is a fun detour off of I-40. The restored 1890 wooden MKT depot houses local artifacts, railroad memorabilia, 1863 Civil War Honey Springs battle exhibits, steer wrestling exhibits, WWII Naval hero, Paul Carr monument, miniature model FFG-52, 14 Flags display and MKT Caboose #205. Entertainment or refreshments can be accommodated for tour groups with advance notice.
