Watonga Chamber of Commerce
Visit Watonga and experience history, traditions and hospitality. Visit the historic T.B. Ferguson Museum, the richly restored 1907 home of Oklahoma's sixth territorial governor. Filled with antique furnishings, clothing, photos and documents, this home is a true beauty. Its grounds also house the original Blaine County jail and a U.S. Calvary station.
Downtown Watonga is a marvel of late 1800s and early 1900s architecture. Many buildings have been painstakingly restored, including storefronts and murals. Peruse a wide variety of antique stores and gift shops for that special gift or collectible.
Only seven miles north of downtown, Watonga boasts one of the original seven Oklahoma state parks. Filled with beautiful canyon views, Roman Nose State Park is a unique and extraordinary park that visitors to the area won't want to miss. From it's challenging 18-hole golf course, to its hiking and equestrian trails, Roman Nose offers something for everyone, including fishing, mini-golf, paddle boats, horse rental, camping and much more.
Whether visiting, passing through or relocating, the Watonga Chamber of Commerce would be happy to help. Step-on guide services are available for tour groups with advance notice.
