The Sequoyah Riding Stables are located near The Lodge at Sequoyah State Park, within the boundaries of fabulous Sequoyah State Park. These riding stables offer horseback riding and guided trail rides on over 300 acres of beautiful wilderness trails, giving guests the chance to view wildlife in their natural habitat. Bring the whole family and create memories that will last a lifetime. Make your way to the Sequoyah Riding Stables and transport yourself back to the Old West. Hayrides and cookouts for groups are also available. The cookout area includes water and electric hookups.

Pricing

1 hour guided ride: $40 per person.

Must be 6 years old or older to ride your own horse. If there are children 5 & under, they may ride double with an adult for $10 extra, as long as the total combined weight doesn't exceed 250 lbs.

Online reservations are available for Saturdays and Sundays through the months of March, April, May, September, October and November. Sequoyah Riding Stables is open for spring break in March and fall break in October.

Sequoyah Riding Stables is open for reservations Tuesday through Sunday from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. (The stables are closed Mondays, except for Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day).

Please plan ahead and have your reservation booked before arriving. Occasionally, there will be a cancellation for last minute plans, but no guarantees.

NOTE: During the summer months, if the heat index reaches 98 degrees, the stables will have to shut down.
