Join the staff at Osage Hills State Park on a tractor-drawn hay ride to the park's original Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp for a guided tour with a park ranger. Explore the abandoned camp while hearing old stories and looking at pictures taken when 200 young men called the area home. Take a group stroll from the CCC camp down to Lookout Lake where you'll take another scenic hay ride back to the parking area. The tour will last approximately three hours and will cover approximately ¾ mile on level or downhill terrain. The trail is rough in places, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear.  Space is limited, so you'll want to make your reservations for this fun and fascinating hike in advance.
