The Junior Naturalist Program at Sequoyah State Park, intended for ages nine and a half and up, is designed for people who have an interest in ecology, natural resources and wildlife. This is a four-day course that will cover tree and plant identification, birds, mammals, reptiles and more. A field trip will be included. Parents are also welcome to attend the classes to earn a volunteer patch. Boy Scouts taking the classes can earn: Mammals, Nature, Reptiles and Amphibian merit badges.
