Mark your calendars for the Annual OKM Music Festival in Bartlesville. This music extravaganza kicks off with the Especially for Kids Festival on May 30 and the main OKM Music Festival will commence on June 6. Known for its captivating talent and variety, this year’s festival promises to be an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all ages. 

The Especially for Kids Festival is designed to cultivate a love for music among younger audiences. The events will take place at various locations and will present an array of activities, including live concerts,  puppet shows, and immersive art experiences. Children can expect a whimsical tea party inspired by characters from Frozen and Boogie Bingo which adds a lively twist to the classic game. Attendees will also have the chance to witness the beauty of Native American Hoop Dancing, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Choctaws. 

The main OKM Music Festival will kick off on Friday at Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve featuring renowned Oklahoma jazz artist Grady Nichols. Following him, the Manhattan Chamber Players will present a selection of classical masterpieces. On Saturday, the celebration will shift to Tulsa at the Cascia Hall Performing Arts Center. This evening will spotlight the Tulsa Honors Baroque Youth Orchestra as well as internationally renowned pianist Natasha Paremski. The final day of the festival will take place at The Refinery on Sunday, featuring the Lesa Steele Piano Studio and close with the intricate classical selections by the Escher Quartet.
