Eskimo Joe’s

Now approaching its 35th anniversary, the modest little Stillwater tavern started by Stan Clark and his pal Steve File on a lark one afternoon in 1975 has evolved into a restaurant and clothing empire fronted by a distinctive, timeless logo recognized the world over. Clark, who became sole owner in 1978, has built a business that is synonymous with fun. And he’s done it by keeping things simple. The fare is tasty and satisfying (love those cheese fries!), the atmosphere is always lively and the beer is ice cold. The Jumpin’ Little Juke Joint may be nearing middle age, but it shows no sign of losing its rhythm.
