Honobia Creek Wildlife Management Area
The Honobia Creek Wildlife Management Area of southeast Oklahoma is a mixture of pine and hardwood forests covering 76,000 acres. A Land Access Permit is required for all visitors who visit the area. Game species of interest include quail, deer, turkey, rabbit and waterfowl. No designated camping areas exist, but primitive camping is allowed. Fishing opportunities exist for sunfish species, smallmouth and spotted bass in the Little River. Small ponds in the area offer opportunities for bass, sunfish and channel catfish. Trails are available for mountain biking and limited ATV usage.
