Fort Gibson Lake Association Tourism Center
Fort Gibson Lake Association Tourism Center
The Fort Gibson Lake Association was formed in the 1960s to help protect, restore and preserve the natural resources of Fort Gibson Lake and its surrounding areas.
This association carries out its duties and responsibilities through public awareness, promoting events and supplying information that attracts and informs visitors to the Fort Gibson Lake region. The association also works closely with the Corps of Engineers to promote water safety. Visit the association's website for information about the Fort Gibson Lake dam, daily weather forecast and daily fishing report to help plan your recreational activities.
This center also disperses information for five local marinas, camping sites, public hunting sites and Sequoyah State Park & Lodge. Visitors will also find information on area picnic tables and RV sites for overnight stays. This tourism center also provides RV hookups for overnight stays, including electric and water service, but no waste removal.
Since this tourism center was completed on April 24, 2004, the Fort Gibson Lake Association has registered over 40,000 visitors in the center.
