Ackley Park in Elk City is a 220-acre park that contains a playground, two tennis courts, an aquatic center, baseball fields, a softball complex, pavilions, picnic areas and more. The crowning jewel of Ackley Park is the full-size, all-wooden carousel featuring 36 hand-carved horses and two chariots. Bring the kids for seasonal attractions such as a miniature 18-hole golf course and miniature train rides around the lake.

Located on historic Route 66, Ackley Park sits adjacent to the Old Town Museum complex of the National Route 66 & Transportation Museum. This Elk City park also features a sand volleyball court, children's playground areas, skate park and more. Visitors can fish in stocked ponds or simply enjoy an afternoon stroll along the park's walking trail.

While admission to the park is free, there are small charges for carousel rides, miniature golf rounds and train rides. Ackley Park is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
