Enjoy outdoor recreation with plenty of room to spread out at Nichols Park in Henryetta. The 300-acre park includes the 17-acre Jim Hall Lake which is home to several species of fish and a few aquatic turtles. Anglers can perch on the floating docks or take refuge from the sun under the covered dock.
Pitch your tent overnight at the on-site campgrounds and rise early for a full day of activities. The park provides several areas for outdoor sports such as the sand volleyball court or the 54-hole disc golf course which regularly hosts tournaments. During the warmer months, go for a swim in the lake or lounge on the sandy beach. Kids will enjoy the three playground areas that are spread throughout the park.
The park is also a great place to host your next family cookout with several picnic areas, covered and uncovered, as well as outdoor grills.
