Grow your child's musical theatre knowledge and expertise by participating in Lyric Theatre's Thelma Gaylord Academy located in Oklahoma City's Plaza District. The academy has taught thousands of students since 2001, including those with careers in Hollywood, Broadway and television. Like previous alumni, your child will engage in an integrated learning program that provides educational tools and a solid, beginning musical theatre foundation. Each class, private lesson, training camp and production is taught by resident Lyric Theatre directors – Rozz Grigsby, Michael Baron and Ashley Wells. Types of classes include acting, stage combat, musical theatre dance and more.
