The Northeastern State University Playhouse, located in the heart of downtown Tahlequah, is an area hub for music and theatre. The Playhouse is home to three performing arts series including NSU Drama, the Sequoyah Institute and River City Players. Get tickets to a River City Players show to experience Branson-style music productions every summer featuring hits from country and rock stars. The Sequoyah Institute offers programs throughout the year in partnership with national and international performing artists with the goal of connecting the arts to the Tahlequah community.
