In 2014, Eagle Scout Hunter Westfahl raised the funds needed to hire an artist to paint a historical mural in downtown Okeene. Artists from Palmer Studios came to Okeene to construct this mural that depicts items important to this small town’s history, including a snake, a Boy Scout shield and a Whippet dog.
