In 1892, the Dobson Family stopped their covered wagon in Miami and made it their hometown. From their homestead and passion for history and learning, they created the Dobson Museum that features more than 5,000 historical items from Ottawa County in several exhibits.
Operated by the Ottawa County Historical Society, the museum covers a range of historical topics. You'll find fascinating exhibits about the nine Native American tribes headquartered in the region, famous residents and more.
