Since 1984, the Porcelain Art Museum has displayed one of the finest and largest collections of hand-painted porcelain in the United States. This Oklahoma City gallery includes pieces from around the world representing traditional, modern, Asian and European (Dresden) styles. See how the art of porcelain combines beauty with utility with the museum's many objects on display. The collection serves to educate and deepen the appreciation of the fine art. Items featured include figurines, dolls, serving dishes and place settings, covered or hinged boxes, vases, jewelry, ornaments, lamps and wall hangings.

To further your learning experience, enroll in classes at the museum. During each course, participants will paint with translucent colors on porcelain in preparation for kiln firing. Students can experiment beyond traditional techniques by using a range of materials, like fiberglass, raised paste, gold and lusters to add texture. Be sure to head to the gift shop for a treasure destination featuring affordable, one-of-a-kind hand painted creations.

Also the location for non-profit World Organization of China Painters, the Porcelain Art Museum is easily accessible three miles in any direction from  I-44, I-40 and Route 66.
