Greater Southwest Historical Museum
Aired On: 2014-04-12Located inside the old Ardmore National Guard Armory that was built in 1936, the museum works to preserve the history of south-central Oklahoma. Exhibits detail the area's history from the mid-1800's to the present with special emphasis on pioneer life, oil and gas development, the railroad and urban life. The museum also houses the Military Memorial Museum which honors all branches of military service from the American Revolution through Iraqi Freedom. Learn More
