Decopolis Discovitorium on Route 66
Aired On: 2021-04-24Decopolis on Route 66 in Tulsa has been called a mixture of Indiana Jones, The Goonies and Willy Wonka. Decopolis is divided into two sides, one of which is like a tiny town square but packed with lots of souvenirs. The town square coincides with the owner’s cartoon series called “The Tulsa Rama Gang.” You can find a candy store with treats from a bygone era, vintage toys and board games as well as Oklahoma memorabilia, soaps and candles. On the other side is The Discovitorium which has a science vibe with rocks and fossils. And there’s even a museum dedicated to Tulsa’s Art Deco era.
