ARTesian Gallery & Studios
Aired On: 2014-10-18Located in the heart of downtown Sulphur, the ARTesian Gallery and Studios is a space for creating, appreciating and sharing fine art. This 7,400 square- foot facility features an art gallery, classroom space, reception and retail space. Designed to assist and promote Chickasaw and other artists, the facility also houses a pottery studio and up to five separate studio spaces, available for artists to rent. The retail shop carries supplies for creating all types of art, traditional and contemporary jewelry, books, music and more. The ARTesian Gallery and Studios offers art classes for all levels, from beginning artists to professional artists. Also, weaving workshops by Chickasaw textile artist Margaret Roach Wheeler will soon be available.
