Cedar Haven Lodge at Gloss Mountain Outfitters is a beautiful and natural custom log home. Surrounded by a tree and mesa-lined valley, this spacious lodge can host small and large gatherings. In close proximity to the lodge, the remains of an early-1900s barn is the perfect place for campfire activities.
The main floor of Cedar Haven Lodge has a full kitchen, a country table that seats 10, a bar that seats five and a living room. The loft can be used as a sleeping area or gathering place. A full balcony offers picture-worthy views the creek and mesas. The basement level provides more seating, a mini-kitchen and a sleeping area, plus two tables for dining or gaming. Covered porches on all sides and levels of the home provide added entertainment space and seating.
Gloss Mountain Outfitters offers a variety of exciting outdoor experiences during your stay. Enjoy the outdoors on the porch in a rocking chair, embark on a leisurely stroll down a tree-lined path or challenge yourself to a strenuous hike through canyons. Take a horseback ride amidst beautiful scenery on trails with natural rock bridges and creek beds. Horse rental is not available, but guided rides are available to those who have their own horses.
See deer, turkey, birds, bats and many small creatures in the surrounding ecosystem. Several colorful collared lizards live in the terraces of the lodge and old barn. Visitors will also enjoy photography, stargazing, wildflowers, fishing and wading in the creek.
Six 50-amp sites with potable water are located on-site. These sites are suitable for RV or equestrian camping and are close to the corrals and arena. Tent camping is available in two sites with fire rings, log seating and firewood.
Since each visit is customized, reservations are required. If you decide to leave the ranch, proximity to Woodward, Waynoka, Fairview and Enid allows the opportunity for top-notch dining, movies, shopping, museums and historical points of interest. The six state parks in the area provide birding, caving, fishing, ATVing and golfing.
