The Tulsa Fire Department is dedicated to the protection of life, health, property and the environment by delivering quality life and fire safety services. Out of 30 fire stations located within the city, only one -- Tulsa Fire Station 66 -- is located on Route 66. Stop by the station to meet and greet the brave firemen dubbed "Keepers of the Mother Road," check out the restored 1950s firetruck outside, and then pick up some Fire Station 66 merchandise including shirts, hats and challenge coins.
