First Day Hike at Roman Nose State Park

Head to Roman Nose State Park on New Year's Day for the park's annual First Day Hike. Meet at the Lodge for an easy, 2.8-mile hike on the ADA Paved Trail. Be sure to bring your pets on leashes, binoculars, camera, water and dress appropriately for cold weather.
The event is held in conjunction with the America's State Parks First Day Hikes initiative that will take place in all 50 states. First Day Hikes encourage individuals and families to start the year off on the right foot with a trek through a state park.
