Explore the world of carpentry in the mid-1800s at a special workshop in September. The 1850s Carpenter Workshop at Hunter's Home will cover basic use and maintenance of hand tools as well as how to "season" wood for a project. Skilled carpenters, both free and enslaved individuals, originally built Hunter's Home entirely by hand.
