Celebrate the life and legacy of MLK at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration in the Gardens. The Myriad Botanical Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City hosts a variety of family-friendly activities that honor Dr. King's historic message. Head to the Crystal Bridge Lobby for art exhibits and live music. Next, listen to poetry readings, a choir performance as well as a recitation of Martin Luther King Jr.'s poignant "I Have A Dream" speech. Be sure to stick around for an art lesson titled "Myths & Folklore in Black History."
