It was Sept. 16, 1893 when people flocked to Enid to stake their claim. Join the city of Enid to celebrate this historical event at the annual Cherokee Strip Days.
During Friday's Lunch Rush, grab an Indian taco and cold beverage to enjoy on the courthouse lawn. On Saturday, watch the parade as streets fill with fire trucks, floats, cars, marching bands and the traditional Longhorn steers. Then take a stroll around the Cherokee Strip Festival to browse vendors and food booths.
