Explore the world of tattooing at the "A Body of Work: More Than Skin Deep" exhibit at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center. This exhibit will showcase artwork created by local tattoo artists who express themselves through a diverse range of tattooing styles and mediums such as painting, drawing, beadwork, and more. The exhibit will also present information about the history of tattooing as well as its relatively recent legalization in Oklahoma. 

Featured artists include Culture Tattoo from Enid and Red Sagas Tattoo Parlor from Woodward. The artwork displayed in the exhibition will be available for purchase, so those with a love for the craft will have the opportunity to take home an amazing work of art. 

An exhibit preview will take place on April 11 from 5pm-9pm. The artists from Culture Tattoo and Red Sagas Tattoo Parlor will be available to discuss their art and offer flash tattoos to clients 18 and up at added cost, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
