Black Wall Street Heritage and History Festival
Celebrate Black History Month during the annual Black Wall Street Heritage and History Festival hosted at the Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences. This year's theme is "Black Towns Matter" – highlighting the history of Oklahoma's All-Black towns. Watch the fashion show produced by Sugar Chic Glam and listen to a lecture from guest speaker Senator Kevin L. Matthews while enjoying soul food favorites like fried corn, beans and cornbread, smothered chicken with African yellow rice, mac and cheese, green beans, potatoes and candied yams. Stick around until the end of the day for the chance to win prizes during giveaways occurring every hour. The event promises a full day of history, education, musical performances and more in the heart of Tulsa.
