Located on Route 66 in Chandler, the Lincoln County Museum of Pioneer History is housed in three buildings that are each over 100 years old. As some of the oldest structures in the county, these buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visit this fascinating museum to find children’s marionette displays, the Bennie Kent photography studio exhibit, Route 66 exhibits and materials for genealogy research. Their exhibits also boast an expansive collection of newspapers from the early days of Lincoln County, Native American artifacts, and other pieces of history, some of which date back before the land run of 1891.
