Head to the iconic Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa to hear synthwave band The Midnight this September. The band was formed in Los Angeles in 2012 by Danish producer Tim McEwan and American singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle after the two met during a songwriting workshop. Their sound blends nostalgic 1980s-inspired synths with a full live band featuring saxophones, guitars and drums. The Midnight broke out on the music scene with the 2016 album “Endless Summer,” which became a favorite with songs like “Sunset” and “Vampires.”
