The play is based on the true story of a pen-pal friendship between Patsy Cline and a fan she met in a Texas honky-tonk. The two kept correspondence until the singer's untimely death in a plane crash. Tales of Patsy's life on the road are told with down-home humor and brought to life through her vibrant music.
