Explore an exciting new topic each month at a Pop-Up Nature Center in Edmond. These programs can deepen your understanding of the outdoors as experts and special guests share their knowledge, lead demonstrations, and provide a unique look at the natural world in Oklahoma. 

In August, experts from Red Dirt Oklahoma Search & Recovery will share information on safety and survival in case someone becomes lost in the outdoors. This program, held at Shannon Miller Park, is great for parents and children to learn tips and tricks to stay safe. You'll meet the search and recovery team, including some of the dogs. For everyone's safety, pets are not allowed to attend this program. Participants should dress appropriately for the outdoors and bring water, snacks, sunscreen and bug repellent.
