The Olympians - book by Cara Reichel and orchestrations by Peter C. Mills - reimagines the roles of female deities in ancient Greece, focusing on Artemis, Athena, and Aphrodite. These goddesses, frustrated with the patriarchal society that they inhabit, decide to empower mortal women by choosing three champions to undertake epic quests. The male gods, however, interfere, making the quests more challenging and forcing the women to unite for success. The Olympians features an eclectic score of well-loved hits, ranging from Pat Benatar, Miley Cyrus, The Chicks, Kelly Clarkson, Blondie and many more.
