This September, Tulsa's Circle Cinema will host the Oklahoma premiere of "Route 66: The Main Street of America." Filmmaker John Paget and Route 66 historian Michael Wallis will be in attendance as special guests at the event.

"Route 66: The Main Street of America" is touring the United States with premiere screenings all along the route. Circle Cinema is honored to host the Oklahoma premiere as Tulsa has been designated the 'capital' of Route 66. Tickets include admission to a pre-film reception in the lobby as well as the film screening followed by a Q&A with Paget and Wallis.

In the film, award-winning filmmaker Paget tours the Mother Road to capture people's stories and framing landscapes and towns to reveal a vivid sense of place. The new film unfolds as a series of character-driven stories, each offering a unique window into life along the road, from roadside attractions to revitalized main streets. Officially selected by the U.S. Route 66 Centennial Commission as part of the national commemoration of the highway’s 100th anniversary, "Route 66: The Main Street of America" celebrates the resilience and the enduring American spirit of adventure.
