Step back in time and experience a "Pioneer Christmas" at the 1889 Territorial School in Edmond. Children will discover what Christmastime was like over a century ago through hands-on activities that bring the past to life such as making traditional crafts and singing festive songs. The immersive program will have a daytime and shorter, evening program available to accommodate different schedules. Children are encouraged to dress in pioneer-style clothing to fully embrace the historical experience. However, costumes do not need to be elaborate and creative, homemade ideas are welcome.
