Experience pure rock ‘n roll history at The Church Studio, which has been fully restored in the Studio Row district. The Church Studio is a historic, state-of-the-art, recording studio in Tulsa. The studio offers the best of both digital and analog recording. The studio includes a spacious live room, four isolation booths, two reverb/echo chambers, plate reverb, and a selection of highly coveted vintage gear.

The Church Studio is also open as a tourist attraction. Come and walk in the footsteps of Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Dwight Twilley, JJ Cale, The GAP Band, Freddie King, Tom Petty, Phoebe Snow, Kansas, Willie Nelson, Peter Tosh, and Leon Russell himself.

The church was originally built in 1915 as Grace M.E. Church and was turned into a recording studio by Oklahoma rock star Leon Russell in 1972. The Church Studio is now open for recording, touring, special concerts and venue rental.

Open six days per week, experience a comprehensive collection of Leon Russell, Shelter Records, and Tulsa Sound memorabilia in the archives. You'll also have the opportunity to view various exhibits celebrating The Church Studio's past and present. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places; however, a new legacy has only just begun.
