The museum plays a big part in preserving the back story on Pawnee Bill, who was ahead of his time. But his mansion built in 1910 remains as it was when Pawnee Bill and his family lived there. There are no reproductions in the mansion! This generational museum is for anyone interested in western culture, Wild West history but the Pawnee Bill Ranch Historic Site and Museum is a point of pride for the state.
