Bryant Baker was the sculptor of the Pioneer Woman Statue in Ponca City. Originally from England, he moved to American in 1915 and became a U.S. citizen in 1923. During his career he created over 100 statues and busts. And of course though his heroic bronze monument of the Pioneer Woman is his best known and loved.
