These beautiful birds are more intelligent that most people think and all three main exhibits reflect that. During World War I & II, pigeons played a vital role in delivering messages to solders! They were credited for saving lots of lives in the wars! A permanent collection of artwork and figurines shows the difference between the fancy and homing pigeons! There is also an exhibit dedicated to pigeon racing, a sport that dates back 5000 years! And after looking inside you head outside to see some real live pigeons, some of which you can hold!
