Extreme Race Day, featuring top American Quarter Horse racing action with the added fun of camel, ostrich and zebra racing, will return to Remington Park. The action-packed afternoon is presented in conjunction with the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association.

Extreme Racing 2026 will feature Camels, Ostriches, Zebras and more, as they compete on the main track, between the actual pari-mutuel horse races. Flying Pig Races will take place on their own track, located just north of the Plaza throughout the day.

In addition to the Extreme Animal racing, the regular horse racing will include extreme distances, long and short, not normally utilized. Many races will give plaza guests an up-close sensory experience, from start to finish.

The Extreme races will alternate between the actual American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa races on Sunday, April 12.

All fans will have the opportunity to meet the animals up close, and take pictures, as they will be made available on the Plaza south, just past the waterfall.
