Make the shortest day of the year one to remember at the First Americans Museum's Winter Solstice celebration. This annual event will feature interpretive walks up the FAM Mound as well as prayer and a traditional round dance. Around 5:15pm, you'll have the opportunity to witness the incredible sight of the setting Winter Solstice sun as it aligns perfectly through the mound tunnel.

Before the sun sets, make sure and check out the incredible galleries and exhibits inside the museum. This event is free to attend, however, tickets are required to view the museum's galleries.
